Then there's this piece where the same editors, again in January, are discussing whether to include Islam in the Constitution and what kind of culture we should have and why. They suggest that the religion has too much cultural control, too much influence on cultural thinking too often and too powerful:.. But perhaps that is just how society does it. The point is that the word itself must be understood from that context. The word in its purest form is "panda". So maybe what you should be thinking is "what does 'panda' have to do with 'panda bear'?" Or possibly "how about 'panda girl' or 'panda boys'?". Even if the words are completely different then the idea must still be brought into question.. The tone is more in the tone of something that a newspaper editor might write on a daily basis. It is also more radical in tone. It's not a comment like, "There is no room for women here in India" but it is talking about women's rights in some way. The writers are asking if India is not the country which allows women to work in the professions? Is it because Indian culture tells them that if women can work it is a bad thing?.. So what the panel is saying is the audience can use these words at their whim or they are being asked to use those words by someone who is telling the panel what the meaning behind the word means. So here we see the ability of a society in India to decide whether or not to use certain words.
